About Eric


Eric B. Lewis is a Managing Partner and Director of Business Development for Sable International.  A merger of his former firm, Ephod Business Solutions, and his business partner’s firm Faith Services, Inc., Sable International is a team of dynamic professionals providing innovative solutions in a global environment.  Based in Baton Rouge, LA, Sable serves as a valuable asset to clients in the public and private sector needing consulting in the areas of business development, project management, governmental affairs, and workforce development.   

As Director of Business Development, Eric is charged with leading a team of professionals providing innovative solutions such as strategic planning, feasibility studies, diversity and community outreach, accounting services, and information technology consulting.

Eric has more than a decade of experience in product development, process improvement, and customer relations.  Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, he worked in some of the country’s leading companies, such as Bechtel, Texas Instruments, Raytheon, and McKesson.

As a strong community advocate in Baton Rouge, he currently serves as the Board President of the Baton Rouge Black Chamber of Commerce.  In addition to the Chamber, Eric currently or previously served on the board of several other local organizations, including the Dean’s Advisory Council for LSU’s E.J. Ourso College of Business, Advisory Board of YWCA, Advisory Board of Desire Street Academy, Riz-Up Louisiana, Forum 35 and the Baton Rouge Branch of the NAACP.  He is also a deacon at the Way of Holiness Ministries in Jackson and Baton Rouge, LA. 

A native of Baton Rouge, LA, Eric holds a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Southern University and a MBA from Louisiana State University.  He is also an alumnus of multiple leadership development programs including Leadership Greater Baton Rouge and the Duke-Southern University Effective Leadership Institute which has allowed him to travel to Africa on two occasions.  He has been married for 14 years to Maura J. Lewis.  They have 3 children, Irene (13), Nya (10), and Miles (7).
